Bryce Tanner ODAs a native of Cortez, Dr Tanner was delighted when presented with the opportunity to move back to Cortez in 2010. Returning to the practice where he received vision care as a child was an added reward.
After graduating from MCHS in 2000, Bryce went on to further his education at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. There he traded in his beloved baseball cleats for intramural flag football and softball jerseys and focused on "going pro" in a new direction. Following graduation from BYU in 2006, Bryce was accepted to Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. After three years of rigorous education in all aspects of the eye, Dr Tanner was ready to embark in a series of externships. Dr. Tanner spent time in Grand Junction, CO working with Dr. David Cale as an extern prior to moving to Albuquerque, NM to extern with the VA hospital. Both experiences gave him opportunities to work with a wide variety of patients and ocular issues. |
Extracurricular Activities |
Dr. Tanner loves to be outdoors. He enjoys bike riding and skiing with his family. He also enjoys mountain biking, traveling, watching BYU football, and coaching youth sports. If he's not in the office, you might be able to catch him at a baseball game.
